Prepare one reviewable requirement
A focused order brief for custom camping tent makers
Connect the tent configuration, variant quantities and evidence questions to a single brief. Supplier proposals become easier to review when the drawing revision, complete-set contents and delivery assumptions remain attached to the request.

Submit a tent requirementWorksheet: keep each choice explicit
Use the groups below as content for your existing inquiry. An unfinished requirement can remain open; mark it “supplier proposal requested” so it is not silently interpreted as an approved specification.
| Review group | Write into the brief | Decision to resolve |
|---|---|---|
| Use and capacity | Camp type, intended season, occupancy and erected dimensions in cm or in. | Is usable floor area or low packed weight the stronger priority? |
| Material and structure | Shell/floor material, coating, pole material, seam treatment and ventilation. | Which changes can be offered as alternatives rather than substitutions? |
| Complete-set quantity | Pieces or sets by color, peg/guy-line count, carry bag and optional footprint. | Are spare components separate from finished-set quantities? |
| Packaging and delivery | Pack ratio, carton dimensions to confirm, US destination and requested delivery scope. | Does the quoted freight cover the same destination and handling? |
| Approval and budget | Sample revision, artwork approval, optional budget currency and per-set/order basis. | Would premium, mid-range or economical supplier proposals fit the intended trade-offs? |
A tighter budget can lead to simpler decoration, fewer color variants or different packaging proposals. Those choices should be evaluated without reducing mandatory construction or evidence requirements. Supplier preference expresses the buyer’s priorities; it is not a preverified rating and does not require an existing quotation.

Brief revision
Date the product drawing, artwork and set contents. Record quantities by variant.
Item documents
Match the report, material and model identifiers. Ask which configuration was tested.
Sample review
Check setup, measured dimensions, seam details, component counts and bag fit.
Accepted response
Log deviations, exclusions, charges and timing assumptions before order approval.
A requested weather value is not a verified result. A related-model sample may be helpful for appearance but cannot automatically approve the production tent. Likewise, an ex-factory quotation and a destination-delivered quotation cannot be compared by unit price alone.
Use the procurement article for additional sample questions. Document availability, MOQ and production timing remain subject to the proposed supplier’s response.
